Nicholas Manetta

Nicholas graduated in Law with first-class honours from the University of Adelaide. He also holds a BA with a major in French and minor in Economics and Accounting.

He was a Commonwealth Scholar at Kings College, Cambridge University, where he successfully completed a Ph.D degree in Administrative Law in 1991.

Nicholas was admitted to practice in 1987.  Before establishing himself in his own private practice in 2019, Nicholas practised for 25 years in the Crown Solicitor’s Office where he acted as the lead Planning and Environmental lawyer for all apex agencies and responsible Ministers in the SA Government.

He had earlier acted as the lead lawyer advising and representing Revenue SA and the Valuer-General in all State taxation and valuation matters.

He has extensive experience advising Ministers and senior Government agencies in all aspects of Administrative Law.

Nicholas has now established a private practice in North Terrace where he undertakes both counsel and advisory work.
